Fine Wine AppreciationThe Fine Wine Appreciation inaugural meeting was held on 26th April 2003 and each couple brought along a bottle priced between £15 and £20. The group meets four times a year to taste a variety of wines in the higher price bracket, which one would be loath to lash out on, by oneself. We normally taste between 8 and 10 wines (the number depends on how many attend the meeting) priced between £10 and £100 usually themed by wine type or area. We take a break halfway through for some gourmet snacks, and the meeting usually finishes with a few bottles of 'quaffing wine' (priced between £5 and £10).
